If buying party supplies online, purchase
them now. You want to allow enough time for
processing and shipping of your items for on time
delivery. Don't forget about Party Favors when ordering
online. |
Create Party Menu |
Create Wish list For Your Princess - You
can register her online at her favorite online store or Toy
Shop. |
Extra Tip: If you are planning to
have a specific themed cake, check your local bakeries for
everything they will need to make the cake. If they do
not have the cake decorating kit that you need, order that
online as well. If you are planning to create your own
cake see next step. |
Test Run of the birthday cake if you are
baking yourself. I suggest doing this with enough time
away from the party so that you know exactly how much time and
supplies you need to get the job done. You will also
have a few weeks in between to rest and eat the test
cake. If it turns out to be too much, you still have
time for the step above. |
2 Weeks

Purchase Party Outfit - If dressing up
in princess dress check for needed alterations. |
Purchase Birthday Gift. I suggest
doing that this week because the week of the party you will be
busy. |

Party Supplies should have arrived.
Double check for everything you need to decorate.
If you forgot something you can visit the party store a few
days before party, NOT the day of. |

Order Balloons |
Order Cake - if you are not baking
yourself. |
Shop for everything on menu if you are
making it yourself. I suggest doing this a few days
before party, not the day of. If you forgot something
you will have a few days to revisit the grocery store to pick
it up. Don't forget batteries for camera, extra toilet
tissue and candles. |
If you are creating your own party
favors, finish them at least 3 days before party. Leave
the next three days for more immediate details like the cake,
food and decorating. |
If you are baking the cake yourself, bake
the cake or layers at least two days before the party and
frost with crumb layer of frosting. Cakes can be frozen
to keep them fresh. You can find more info in the cake
section of the website. |

Day Before Party
Assemble and decorate the cake if you
are baking it yourself. |
Decorate Party Location. If you are
having the party outside of your home, ask the party location
providers if this is possible. |
If preparing the food yourself, prep for
the party day. Ex. if you are preparing frozen chicken
fingers put the chicken fingers in an oven safe pan and cover
with aluminum foil. Party Day - just pop right into the
oven. |
Pick up cake today if at all
possible. |
Set Up Party Games |
Prepare camera. Charge rechargeable
batteries or replace old batteries. |
If you are going to play
music, place the cds near the
stereo. |

Pick up Balloons if they do not

Pick up cake if they do not deliver and
could not pick it up yesterday. |
Begin preparing
food yourself or have food delivered an hour before
party begins. |
Prepare the princess for her big
day. |
Welcome the guests. |
